During the month of March 2011 the students at East Tech participated in the Nevada State Leadership Conference that was held at Palace Station. It was our second year competing in the conference. Many students participated in many exciting competitions that ranged from health science events to recognition events. Students prepared weeks in advance for each of their competitions. This year we are proud to recognize the following competitors. Brittany Miller who won gold in the nursing assistant competition. Janeth Caballos who won silver in the nursing assistant competition. The team of Talha Khan, Saher Zaidi, Austin Nelson, Jesse Olmedo for wining bronze in the HOSA Bowl competition. Claudia Puentes, Gerardo Romero, Jacqueline Uribe for placing 4th place in the medical reading competition. Fabian Donante for placing 5th in Extemporaneous Speaking.
